Born Among The Waves, Creamy Waves Is Making Splash With Delicious Nut Butters!

Drawn by the rhythmic movement of the waves that enveloped him as he surfed in the vast oceans, Ryan’s vision of launching “a tide of natural flavours” into the local market was born, aptly named Creamy Wave. But that’s not where the story of Creamy Wave initially began. It was a few years back, during his holidays in Australia, that he stumbled upon a machine in a supermarket that effortlessly churned out freshly made nut butter with a touch of a button.

As someone who is enthusiastic about eating healthy, he was driven to launch a product of his own that is nourishing, wholesome, and free of preservatives for the local market. Thus, the story of the Creamy Wave began.

Creamy Wave made its delicious debut in the Maldives Food Carnival this July with two flavors: peanut butter and cashew butter. These butters are creamy, but not entirely smooth, and have a delicate grainy consistency. They can easily be your go-to snack and will go perfectly with breads, crackers, smoothies, and even savory dishes like salads or pasta sauces.

The only ingredient in these butters is just the nuts used; our butters are gluten and dairy free, vegan and free of any artificial flavours or preservatives, so it’s a  safe choice for even babies who are not allergic to nuts,”  Ryan shared with Taste. These nuts go through the process of roasting until their natural flavours and oils to are released, and then churned in a machine to a luscious creamy thick consistency.

Creamy Wave’s current selection includes two flavors, of which cashew butter is the most popular among customers. Ryan says he gets plenty of positive feedback for these products because they appeal to a wide range of people, from fitness enthusiasts to just about anyone looking to eat healthy.

So what does the future look like for Creamy Wave? Ryan along with his father, who is also his partner in his business, has plans to launch a variety of more nut butters in the future, including almond, pistachio, and even sea almond (kanamadhu) butters. “Currently, we are buying the finest nuts available from our local stores, but we are exploring the possibility of sourcing premium nuts from overseas and even considering sustainably grown options

Creamy Wave’s products will soon be hitting the shelves in STO and Little Fino, but customers can currently order them online through their Instagram page @creamywavemv
